Overview
Help ensure review, discussion and dissemination of latest research and evidence-based practice with intent to improve patient care and outcomes.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Analyze trauma patient management in accordance with state and Medical Center quality indicators
  2. Review outcome of trauma patients admitted to the Trauma Service and identify/discuss any optimization in care
  3. Discuss evidence-based practice treatment options in the care of the trauma patient
  4. If applicable, add evidence-based screening, diagnosis, or treatment criteria to clinical practice guidelines
  5. Educate staff who take care of Trauma patients of any continuation or improvement to optimize patient care

Accreditation
Lakeland Regional Health is accredited by the Florida Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Lakeland Regional Health designates this educational activity for a maximum of 2.00 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
