About Lakeland Regional Health


LRH’s Continuing Medical Education program strives to provide learning opportunities and current clinical information for physicians and advanced practice providers to enable them to expand their knowledge and practices while improving the clinical outcomes of their patients.

Lakeland Regional Health’s CME Mission:
The purpose of the accredited Continuing Medical Education Program at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center is to:

  1. Provide educational content that is fair, balanced and free of commercial influence;
  2. Support and/or enhance the safety and effectiveness of patient care in our community;
  3. Ensure that any clinical content is evidence-based and supports safe, effective patient care;
  4. Improve competence and/or performance of learners and influence improvement of patient outcomes.

To ensure activities are relevant to our providers and community, CME events topics are identified with the input of participants, and from clinical and administrative departments at LRH.
