Dr. Bishoy Kolta graduated from Faculty of Medicine at Asyut University in Egypt in 2011.  Following this, he dedicated himself to the field of mental health, completing his residency in Adulty Psychiatry at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in New Jersey.  Dr. Kolta then moved to Florida, where his commitment to mental health deepened through advanced fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of South Florida.  He now serves at the Chair of Psychiatry and the Inpatient Medical Director at LRH. 

In his compassionate approach, Dr. Kolta believes wholeheartedly in the significance of mental health.  His journey in the medical field is not merely a profession but a personal calling to contribute to the well-being of individuals facing challenges.  Specializing in conditions such as ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, and addressing behavioral complexities like Defiant behavior, mood swings, Eating Disorders, psychosis, OCD, PTSD, and various addictions.
