Elise M. Fallucco, MD, DFAACAP is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in Jacksonville, Florida who is nationally recognized for training pediatricians to integrate mental health into pediatric care. She is passionate about training pediatricians to meet the needs of the children and adolescents affected by the national child mental health crisis. Dr. Fallucco has received funding from SAMHSA, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and local foundations to develop and study models to improve the integration of mental health in pediatric primary care. Dr. Fallucco has published articles in multiple journals including Pediatrics, the Journal of Pediatrics, and the Journal of Adolescent Health.
She most recently worked as a Professor of Pediatrics and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Eastern Virginia Medical School/ Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, VA. There, she built an experiential training program for pediatric residents in mental health through a remote/hybrid Integrated Mental Health Clinic.
Dr. Fallucco is the producer and host of a child mental health podcast for pediatric clinicians called PsychEd4Peds – helping you help kids. The goal of the podcast is to provide practical tips, skills, and resources to support pediatricians in caring for kids and teens with mental health problems.
